ANESTHESIA OPTIONS
If surgical care is indicated Dr. Ehsan will discuss anesthetic
options. The choice of anesthesia is dependent on a number of factors.Prior anesthetic/surgical response

Dr. Ehsan is certified in anesthesiology and
holds a general anesthesia license. Intravenous (IV) sedation and
general anesthesia are administered in the office. Patients are
monitored with continuous and state-of-the art EKG, Blood Pressure,
Pulse Oximetry, and Respiration machines.
Office Based Anesthetic Options
1. Local Anesthesia
2. Nitrous Oxide Sedation ("laughing gas")
3. Intravenous Sedation
4. Intravenous General Anesthesia
Hospital Based Anesthetic Options
Procedures that are preformed at the hospital are usually with full
general anesthesia. Dr. Ehsan has surgical privileges at California
Pacific Medical Center.
