WHY ARE WE HERE? WHAT IS SFII?
The San Francisco Implant Institute is a state of the art
oral/maxillofacial and implant surgery private practice facility
specializing in the care of patients in need of dental implants, wisdom
tooth removal, dental extractions, and other oral surgery procedures,
including: laser surgery, reconstruction of jaw structures, management
of oral infections and pathology.
SFII was founded as a treatment facility specifically to bring
greater knowledge to the dental profession about dental implantology
and to provide a facility to patients with an emphasis on DENTAL
IMPLANT therapy.
Dental implants are an integral part of mainstream dentistry;
perhaps the most researched procedure in the history of dentistry
and more predictable than any procedure we perform. Quality
implant therapy requires dedication and attention to detail
and close cooperation between surgeon, dentist and patient.
We continue to strive for the best possible results for patients
and support our colleagues with educational programs and high-quality
surgical care.
WELCOME TO OUR PRACTICE
Whether you have been referred by your dentist, another dental
specialist, a friend, family member, colleague or other source, we
appreciate the opportunity to serve you. We will do our best to see
that your time with us is as pleasant as possible. Depending on the
type of care you may need, you may be spending only a few minutes with
us or we may be seeing each other many times over the next 3-6 months.
In most cases, we will have a consultation appointment prior to any
treatment except in emergency or urgent situations. You may want to
bring your spouse, or a close friend or family member to participate in
the consultation.
We take pride in the quality of care we give, both technically
and personally. You should expect to be treated in a professional,
caring and friendly manner by everyone in our office. You should
expect a careful and thorough assessment of your condition and
you should expect that all your questions are answered and concerns
addressed courteously and to your satisfaction. Nevertheless,
if at any time you feel our communications or services have
not been what they could be, please inform us so we can improve
them.
I believe you will find our office clean, modern and efficient.
We have excellent diagnostic equipment, including our top-of-the-line
digital panographic x-ray machine. Much of our implant diagnosis
and treatment planning is done using CT scans and a revolutionary
computer software program, resulting in the best possible pre-operative
information available today.
